The Department of Land Transport is under the portfolio of the Ministry of Habitat, Infrastructure and Land Transport. The Department is responsible for all land transport sectors in Seychelles. The Department of Land Transport’s main objective is to establish policies and regulations to ensure proper monitoring of policies and effective enforcement of regulations with the ultimate goal to ensure safe and reliable transport infrastructure and systems. The Department has over sight over the Road Transport Commissioner’s Office (RTC) and the Seychelles Land Transport Agency (SLTA) and Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC).
