A cottage industry certificate allows the holder to conduct a cottage-based business and allow them to benefit from SEnPA’s entrepreneurial services. For example, SEnPA certificate holders can display their goods/products in any SEnPA’s shops and be paid on a monthly basis based on the sales of products. In addition, a cottage industry certificate is a certificate given to all SME’s (Small and Medium Enterprises) that had undergone all procedures and formalities put forward by SEnPA and other government sectors concerned, i.e. the Ministry of Health, Department of Environment and the Fire Brigade department.
Non- compliance with these requests could result in SEnPA revoking the cottage certificate.
SMEs should work at their residential area/premises
Foreigners are not eligible to obtain the certificate
This certificate may not be transferred to or used by a second party.
The business is operated locally by the owner.
This certificate is renewable every year.
Should any change of name, address, telephone number occur, you must contact SEnPA for correction or amendment.
