The Government will not refund you if the treatment is available in Seychelles and also will not refund you if you did not seek treatment in Seychelles before deciding to go overseas. If you did seek treatment, but the treatment was not available locally, then you will be refunded.
However if the treatment is available locally and for some reason there was delay or misdiagnosis, your case will also be presented to Board of senior doctors of the Health Care Agency to determine the amount to be refunded.
